Borovets has 15 lifts ( 1 Gondola, 4 chairlifts and 10 draglifts, 35km cross country. The longest run is 12km with a total piste of 50km. Borovets is ideal for beginners and intermmediate skiers. Visa Requirements: A valid 10 year British passport is required. A validity of 3 months beyond the end of your intended stay is required. All children entering Bulgaria require their own passport. Other passport holders enquire at the Bulgarian Embassy: 0207 584 9400.
Local currency: Bulgarian Lev. Currency should be in cash (new Sterling or Euro notes - well used notes not accepted). Travellers Cheques are subject to heavy commission. Credit cards are rarely accepted. There are ATM's in resort where credit cards and Maestro cards are accepted for withdrawing
